What do these four businesses have in common?  Well, over the next several weeks the Chamber of Commerce will help with their ribbon cutting ceremonies and open houses.

Friday – December 21

10:00 a.m. – The remodeling construction is almost completed and Lawley Toyota is celebrating with a ribbon cutting and huge sale. The outside of the dealership looks great, but wait until you see the differences inside the dealership! Plus, we hear that owner Paul Leetmae will be making a huge announcement during the ribbon cutting ceremony that will include even more changes. Lawley Toyota is located at 2750 Highway 180 in Silver City.

4:30 p.m. – Though the HoneeBeeGoods bakery has been open a while, they have never had an official ribbon cutting. So, we will help fix that problem this Friday. Great baked items and fresh fruit smoothies, soups and sandwiches, cookies, pies… and they can help design specialty cakes for any occasion. HoneeBeeGoods is located at the corner of Bullard and Broadway Streets in downtown Silver City.

Friday – January 11

4:00 p.m. – The Grant County Art Guild has moved its gallery from Pinos Altos, NM to the Hester House building in downtown Silver City. To celebrate the move, we will assist with a ribbon cutting and open house from beginning at 4 p.m. You be able to see the art, meet the artists, and enjoy their open house. The address is 316 North Bullard Street.

Friday – January 16

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Vicky Schram is inviting the public to attend the open house and ribbon cutting for Van Dyk Mortgage. They have moved to a new office at 1625 Silver Heights Blvd. in Silver City. We hope you will stop by to meet Vicky and hear what Van Dyk Mortgage can possibly do for you and your family.

We welcome a new member to the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce… Roth Drone Services, LLC. Randy Roth has begun an exciting new company and can show you how drone services can make a difference for lots of businesses, while saving you time and maybe even money. You can visit the Roth Drone Services website here or call Randy at (575) 263-1830.

We will have even more new members and more ribbon cuttings to talk about in future weeks. I am thinking about Del Taco, Einstein’s Bagels, the new Senior Olympics office, and Micks 33 Lounge. We may even get to assist with a groundbreaking ceremony or two in 2019. We are definitely starting the new year off in a great way.
