Santa Fe, New Mexico – The New Mexico Association of Counties (NMAC) presented Luna County with a Workers' Compensation Safety Award during the 2018 NMAC Legislative Conference January 16-18, 2018 in Santa Fe, NM. Luna County received the award for achieving a positive claim trend and the lowest frequency of workers' compensation claims for 2017. For this award, the county received a $7,000 contribution refund.
