Congress Must Act To Rein in Biden’s Energy Failures

Washington, D.C. - As America’s working families head back to school, they are facing the highest gas prices since last fall. According to AAA, the average cost for a gallon of gas is more than $3.82, marking a nearly 30 cent increase from one month ago. The current price is the highest since last October and coincides with three months of declining domestic oil production. The increased spike also takes place as President Biden travels to the western United States to celebrate his efforts to spend billions on the green agenda and as his administration was caught discussing draining the strategic petroleum reserve with Chinese government officials.

“With the strategic petroleum reserve at critically low levels, jeopardizing our ability to respond to a natural disaster or national security emergency, the Biden Administration is out of tools to manipulate prices for his political advantage,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future. “It is time for the Congress to step in and proactively pass legislation which reins in the Biden Administration’s war on American energy and empowers our workers to do what they do best and produce energy for the nation”
