Pathetic is not a strong enough word to describe the behavior of not only the Democrats, but their supporters, over the past couple of weeks during the hearings regarding Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Over the last year and a half, we have watched the left wing become more and more vicious in their attempts to derail the current administration and regain power for themselves. It has culminated in one of the most disgusting displays of vile behavior that I have ever seen.

The hypocrisy is unbelievably apparent to most of us, but I have a lot of acquaintances that either don’t want to see it or willfully ignore it because they hate white men, President Trump, Christians, conservatives, or some other group so much that they can’t see what is going on right in front of their eyes. There is more evidence to prove Keith Ellison assaulted his ex-girlfriends, than the flimsy allegation made against Judge Kavanaugh, yet the Democrats support him becoming Attorney General. Do you think he will strongly prosecute similar allegations that come before his department?

I have asked some of my friends who believe Judge Kavanaugh is guilty simply because a woman said he was guilty, if they would be so sure of guilt if the same allegations were made against a male member of their family. Of course, their answers run the gamut from avoidance, to obfuscation, to the unbelievable ‘conclusion’ that there is actually hard evidence against Kavanaugh and in support of Ford. Really?

All the witnesses identified by Ford as being present at the event have signed sworn affidavits saying the events as described by Ford never happened. They were never at such a party. Even Ford’s best friend, involved in all of the same radical movements, married to Bob Beckel at one time, said it did not happen. In fact, she doesn’t ever remember meeting Kavanaugh.

Time magazine reviewed the time line released by the Senate Judiciary committee and is reporting that two men have written letters to the committee saying they were the boys at the party described by Ford. It was not Kavanaugh.

Repressed memories are notoriously unreliable. The medical profession has documented extensively that a significant portion of those claiming to have recalled previously repressed memories either don’t get the facts correct or misidentify their attackers. Even the therapist’s notes show that Ford wasn’t entirely certain who her ‘attackers’ were because she admittedly had been a wild child at a lot of drunken parties and engaged in a lot of sexual relations.

Ms. Ford appeared to be the quintessential victim; meek, emotional, almost childlike in her tone, behavior, and answers. This is not the woman described by the dozens of students who have reviewed her performance as a professor. To a person, these students described her as angry, mean, demeaning… not once did timid or scared ever show up in her online reviews. It may have been an Oscar-worthy performance.

Sixty-three women, some who have known Kavanaugh since high school, signed a letter saying that they do not believe the allegations against him; that he was of the highest character and never gave any of them an uncomfortable feeling at any time. Doesn’t that go to credibility? Doesn’t that go against the claim that sexual predators continue to exhibit similar behavior throughout their adult lives? You know, like Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, or the dozens of Congressmen who used taxpayer money to pay off their staff.

The polygraph is claimed to prove Ford is telling the truth. The test is so unreliable that it is not allowed in most court proceedings. More telling is that Ford was only asked two questions related to the allegations she made. Was she lying about the incident? The thing with recovered memories, even if the memory is false, the ‘victim’ believes it happened, so will pass the test.

The left says they want an FBI investigation. The FBI doesn’t have jurisdiction in this case, but they have already conducted six extensive background checks on Judge Kavanaugh and never found any similar concerns. Now the claim is that we don’t have enough time to conduct a thorough investigation prior to voting on his nomination. If the Democrats had made the letter public when they received it over 45 days ago, then a more thorough investigation could have been conducted. Or maybe when witnesses like Mark Judge were interviewed by Senators and their staffers, the Democrats could have actually asked questions, rather than sit silently.

It’s clear this circus is not about finding out the truth, but is about power. I know, that’s becoming a broken record but it is an accurate statement. None of us would want to sit through what Judge Kavanaugh had to endure for the last 2 weeks. This was staged for purely partisan political purposes as instructed by Saul Alinsky. It is a sad day in American history.
