Donald Trump might be the worst racist ever. We heard multiple Democrat representatives talk about Trump being a racist and misogynist during the Cohen testimony this past week. Let’s look at the racist, sexist bigot that Trump is: 70% of the people employed by Trump at the VP level or above are women and minorities. Signed a decree that made MLK’s birthplace a national historic landmark; created economic policies that have led to the lowest unemployment rates in the black and Latino communities ever recorded; Ellis Island Medal of Honor in recognition of his patriotism, tolerance, support of diversity, and brotherhood, specifically mentioning his programs aimed at helping black youths; Muhammed Ali Entrepreneur Award for his development of black neighborhoods and support of black-owned businesses; he sued the city of Palm Beach for excluding blacks and Jews from various clubs and organizations; he opened the first club to admit black members in Palm Beach; has received multiple awards from Jewish organizations for his support of various Jewish groups, causes, and Israel; established the Opportunity and Revitalization Council to rehabilitate black neighborhoods. There is more, but many of you won’t believe it or will shrug it off as some kind of PR cover up.

New Mexico legislators are considering a bill that would give all of our electoral college votes to the winner of the national popular vote. Colorado has already moved a bill through and it will likely be signed by the governor. That would marginalize our voices and our votes unlike anything else the liberals could put in place. Think of it this way; let’s decide all state-wide votes in NM by counting only the votes of people in Catron County. Never mind what voters in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or Las Cruces want; Catron County decides. How do you think that would go over? Not well I’m sure, but that is tantamount to what these bills would do to every citizen in NM.

The owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, was charged with two counts of soliciting a prostitute while in Florida. He visited one of those Oriental spas/massage parlors that pride themselves on making sure their male customers leave with a smile on their face. Many are upset because of the human trafficking associated with those businesses. I’m fairly certain that Kraft, like most customers, doesn’t even think about the way the women there are abused or forced to work in the industry. But supporting the businesses does likely support human trafficking and abuse of women. You know what else supports abuse of women, children, killing of innocent people? Purchasing illegal drugs; marijuana, meth, cocaine, heroin, molly, etc. When you buy illegal drugs you are supporting the drug cartels that control the border and charge illegal aliens thousands of dollars to come to America; women are regularly raped; children are kidnapped and sold as sex slaves; yes, your purchase of marijuana from a drug dealer is much worse; but you didn’t think about that, did you?

The local liberals are upset at the defeat of the anti-mining bills. Many of those who opposed those bills have been told we want to destroy the environment or ruin our local watershed. Really? Because we don't use the same water as you? We don't care about our kids? Poppy-cock. The water is not being polluted by the mining process and there are already measures in place to protect our natural resources. These bills were designed for one reason and one reason only; to kill mining.

Kudos to Rebecca Dow for her active and important role in opposing the legislation regarding our 2nd amendment rights and the anti-mining bills. Gabe Ramos also played a role in opposing the bills. Shame on our other representatives or locally based politicians for not being active and publicly vocal in representing the wishes of the majority of citizens in Grant County.
