How many of you are familiar with the Jakobshavn Glacier? You may not know it by name but you know it because you've heard about it. First of all most scientists believe that the iceberg that sunk the Titanic broke off from this glacier but more recently it has been exhibit 1 or 1A in the climate scientists' argument about global warming or climate change or whatever we are calling it these days.

Since 2012 the Climate Research Unit and their supporters have pointed to this glacier as evidence of climate change. For a number of years, the ice sheet has been getting smaller, but since 2012 it has been receding at about 1.8 miles and thinning about 130 feet per year, an accelerated rate compared to previous years. We’ve discussed before the fact that the Antarctic ice sheet is growing larger and pointed out that many of the bases scientists normally go to in the summer months in the Antarctic are much farther away from the shoreline than they used to be. Much of the growth there has been underwater but it’s still growing.

A new report Released by the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland has found that the Jakobshavn Glacier has actually been growing for the last 2 years at the same rate that it had previously been decreasing; e.g. 1.8 miles per year and 130 ft in thickness. In fact temperatures In the Bay where the glacier meets the ocean have cooled to a depth of 250 ft to temperatures not seen since the mid-1980s.

Jason Box was one of the authors of the article that was published and said it shows clearly that we still know very little about how man affects the climate, if at all, and that there is a tremendous amount of research needed to be done before we can make significant conclusions. Now of course this does not stop Al Gore or the CRU or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from pushing the green new deal and adding economy-killing regulations and taxes in order to prevent man-caused climate change. Once again, they are trying to build a truth upon a lie.

Part 2 of this column: cows are dying in France and it's for the same reason we have seen here in the United States but once again you haven't heard about it in the mainstream media. Farmers in France have been experiencing an increasing rate of mortality in their herds. Many of the cows that are still alive have lost significant amounts of weight and dairy cattle have begun giving less milk.

Scientists and veterinarians have been working to figure out what's going on but haven’t found an identifiable disease that could be causing the problems. Now we have the answer. It is apparent that the high number of wind turbines and solar panels are killing the cattle. If you have a public-school education, recently, you probably don’t know that a small amount of electricity is released into the ground from generating stations, transformer stations and renewable energy sources.

Cattle and other animals such as deer and elk do not have as high of a resistance to these electrical charge as humans do. In fact, the human body can with stand up to 1500 ohms, while a cow can resist 500 ohms. There is over 1 Volt of electrical charge in the ground in the Brittany area of France. That is about 3 times the amount that a cow can withstand. This increased amount of electrical charge is killing and sickening the animals. French authorities said they will review the situation carefully. Of course they will.

Like many of you, I want to know what AOC thinks about the situation. I already know what she thinks; it’s killing cows, that means less flatulence, better for the environment. What’s the problem? I think the rest of us know what the problem is…
