No one should be surprised by the way the Democrats and their friends in the media have responded to the release of the Mueller committee report. First, we have history to tell us how the liberals will respond to anything that might remotely be bad news for them or good news for President Trump, but we also have the rhetoric they were spewing prior to the release of the report. They continue to stoop to new lows in their attempt to retain the power they feel slipping away.

Prior to the release of the report one of the complaints they made was that Attorney General William Barr should not be holding a press conference prior to the release of the report, just so he could spin his side of the story. They weren’t really worried about what the AG was going to say, just that he was beating them to the punch in the spin game.

Attorney General Barr did exactly what he should have done, tell the American people why he made the decisions he did and the process that was followed. That’s transparency, even if you think it’s not truthful. But the benefit of having Barr speak, was that we could then look at the report and see if we agree with what he said or not. The same with the Democrats, we can see if they were right about a cover up of collusion or obstruction.

Neither did the Never Trumpsters like that the AG and his staff briefed the White House staff prior to releasing the report. Guess what? The AG works for the President and should report to him, especially when he was the subject of the witch hunt, or ‘investigation.’

Does the report contain information that may be harmful to the President? I’ve read a good portion, especially with regards to the collusion allegations and there might be a few things you could construe, in the twisted world of politics and public opinion, as evidence. But the vast majority of ‘facts’ the Democrats are pointing to as evidence of obstruction are just questions and thoughts the President had; thoughts that he never acted upon. So far in our legal system, thoughts are not considered criminal activity.

Lost in the rhetoric is the conclusion that while the Russians did try to influence the outcome of our election, it wasn’t done by hacking into any voting system and changing votes; it was done my manipulating information, by putting out false news stories. The media won’t tell you that because most of us will realize that the whole Russians stealing our election story that has been pounded by the media for 2 years, was no big deal.

Simply, if you think Trump cheated before, you still think he cheated. If you think Trump didn’t collude or obstruct, you now believe it even more ardently. Those of you that weren’t sure, probably still aren’t sure. So nothing has changed with the release of the report; especially the fact that the only thing both groups of political elites have in common, is that they are only worried about gaining or losing power; it was never about finding the truth.
