Silver City, NM – Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) and Jill Steidl, PA-C (HMS Certified Physician Assistant) will be donating the meat from their recent purchase at the Grant County Fair Junior Livestock Sale to the Gila Valley Mobile Food Pantry to help feed the community. HMS and Steidl have been buyers together at the livestock sale for more than 10 years.

This year they purchased a 150-lb lamb and the meat will be processed by Wilcox Meat Packing. "We are thrilled to be able to support our community once again in this way," stated Steidl. "In a time of limited resources for many individuals, families, and community organizations, HMS appreciates the chance to assist the Gila Valley Mobile Food Pantry and those it serves with this donation," added Dan Otero, HMS Chief Executive Officer.
