According to Neal Bowen, PhD, HMS Chief Mental Health Officer, "The Tu Casa Substance Abuse Facility will provide medical evaluations, medication-assisted therapy, intensive outpatient, and other counseling services to the community, including family services and after care. We are thrilled about this collaborative project coming to fruition."

"Thanks to the hard work, forward-thinking, and innovative collaboration of a very strong group of community leaders that include the County of Grant, The Town of Silver City, GRMC and the Tu Casa Design Committee (see photo), the Tu Casa Substance Abuse Facility project will be open sometime in early 2018," stated Dan Otero, HMS Chief Executive Officer. Added Otero, "Aside of facilities in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, Tu Casa will be southwestern New Mexico's first 24/7 substance abuse center and social detoxification facility. This is very exciting for all of us, as HMS employees, Dr. Bowen, and our Mental Health Services team will be leading the management of this new HMS clinical location."
