The Nonprofit Resource Group starts the new year with a new Learning Circle: The Top 10 Things That Make a Great Nonprofit on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the College Street Plaza Suite #5, located at 301 W. College Ave. These peer-to-peer discussions are tailored for nonprofit leaders to share the characteristics an organization needs to go above and beyond. Is it a specific practice? A type of outlook? A vision? Or could it just be commitment to the cause? This is an opportunity to meet with other nonprofit leaders and hear their insights into what works for nonprofits.

Learning Circles content is customized to address the needs of each group to achieve the goals of each participant. The participants meet for 90 minutes either in person or remotely by video or teleconference.

The Learning Circles are made possible by a partnership with the United Way of Carlsbad, and funded by the McCune Charitable Foundation. The Nonprofit Resource Groups is a program of the National Center for Frontier Communities.
