March 29, 2018 – The Gila Regional Medical Center Foundation received a $1,000 donation today from Western Bank.

The donation was made to support the Hidalgo Cancer Fund established at Gila Regional Medical Center. "The donation from Western Bank will be used to support our Cancer Center this year for the Hospital," stated Gila Regional Medical Center Foundation President Alfred Sedillo.

"We are a community bank, giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of our mission. These funds donated today were raised by the Western Bank of Lordsburg employees which are intended to assist the Hidalgo County residents in their fight against cancer. We also have a similar program in Grant County that helps Grant County residents with their efforts to overcome cancer," said Randi Ybarra, COO and SVP of Western Bank.

"We graciously thank Western Bank for their commitment to our community through their donation," said Sedillo, "This money is going to support life-saving treatment for our community".
