The Silver City MainStreet Project received a $1,000 donation from the Town and Country Garden Club to be used for downtown holiday decorations. As a small non-profit, this donation is greatly appreciated because fundraising in a small community is always challenging.

Silver City MainStreet is fundraising for downtown holiday decorations to make downtown Silver City beautiful for the holidays and a fun place to take families to see decorations.

"We were surprised and pleased to receive this donation and it kicks off our fundraising efforts, states board president Patrick Hoskins. Our design committee is working hard to come up with decorations that will make our downtown sparkle this year. We have some fun ideas in the mix and truly appreciate this donation so we can make it happen."

If you would like to donate funds for holiday decorations, please visit our new website, www.silvercitymainstreet.com. We now accept donations online.
