Town services, including streets and sanitation, parks and recreation, and police and fire total more than $50K for this signature musical event, which brings thousands of blues music fans to town each year.
The Blues Festival kicks off the busy festival season, which includes Fiesta Latina, June 22-24; Silver City CLAY Festival, July 16-21; the Hummingbird Festival and Copper Country Cruizers Car Show in August; the Gila River Festival, the Southwest Print Fiesta and the Southwest Festival of the Written Word, all in September; the Mimbres Valley Harvest Festival in October; Day of the Dead celebrations in November; and the annual Tamal Fiesta in December.
