For more information, call 388-4165.Silver City – The Municipal Pool is now open daily, and is just one of many summer activities available to Silver City youth, challenging the idea that there is nothing for children to do in the summer.

Pool hours are Sunday – Friday, 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., during which time one lane is reserved for lap swimming. The pool is also reserved for lap swimming Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Evening swim hours are 6-9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.

Admission is just $4 or $60 for a 20-visit punch card. Swimmers get in free if they take Corre Caminos to the pool and show their bus ticket. Admission is free to everyone, every Saturday. The city pool is located at 2700 N. Silver Street.

Swimming lessons are available in June and July, and the Silver City Swim Team offers competitive swimmers an opportunity to test their skills and speed. The pool is also available for rental Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, from 6-9 p.m.. For more information, call 388-4165.
