HMS Family Medicine PhysicianSilver City, NM — Dan Otero, Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) Chief Executive Officer, and Darrick Nelson, MD, HMS Chief Medical Officer and Family Medicine Residency Program Director, are pleased to announce that Brandon Ferguson, MD, has joined HMS.

Ferguson received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from St. George's University School of Medicine where he spent two years in Grenada, West Indies and two years at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Ferguson recently completed his Family Medicine residency with the HMS Family Medicine Residency Program in Silver City. As a Family Medicine Physician, Ferguson is dedicated to treating the whole patient and is trained to care for patients of all genders and every age. Ferguson said, "As a family medicine physician, I feel it is important to work with my patients as a team, take the time to explain the disease process, and discuss all of the possible options and approaches."
