firstsavingsdonationsFirst Savings Bank just made two donations to the Silver City School District this week at its monthly Board Meeting —$200 for COATS FOR KIDS and $125 for the High School Debit Card Program with the bank.

First Savings Bank started a High School Debit Card program that the bank’s customers can choose to be part of in which they receive a Silver HS Logo Debit card to carry and use for their debit and credit purchases. In return, the bank is donating 10% of the Merchant Fees back to the Schools to use as they see fit. "As this was the first year for the cards we expect to see the banks donations grow and increase every year going forward,” Jack Herndon, First Savings Bank Silver City market president, said. "We are excited to be able to help the School System any and every way we can.”
