(Picture courtesy of the Guild)The Grant County Art Guild Gallery opened its new doors November 17 with an opening reception for customers, artist members and friends. The new space, at the corner of Bullard and Market in the former Hester House building, is the new home of the 50 year old Guild and represents the fine art and fine crafts of over 25 local talents.

It’s closed on Thanksgiving day, but come in for post Thanksgiving shopping all day Friday. Gift ideas include original paintings, photography, prints, greeting cards, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, home décor, and more – all by local artists and artisans.

Also note that Saturday the Gallery is open late, closing at 7:00 p.m. Come downtown early to see new arty gifts for Christmas and occasions. Grab a cookie before grabbing a spot nearby for the 28th Lighted Christmas Parade that starts at 7:00.

Come shop at GCAGG every day except holidays. Normal non-holiday Hours are Monday through Saturday – 10:00-5:00, and Sunday – 12:00-4:00.
