“God’s Umbrella: Southwest New Mexico World War II Survivors” author Mary Alice Murphy signed copies of her book at the Silver City Public Library Tuesday afternoon. More than 20 people, including three veterans from World War II, attended the signing. The veterans also shared more of their stories.
The next public signing will take place at the Western New Mexico University Miller Library on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, from 4:30-6 p.m.
