Artist Jackie Blurton and writer and biologist Roland Shook sign a compilation of their published columns

At the new location for the Grant County Art Guild gallery in the former Hester House, artist Jackie Blurton and biologist and writer Roland Shook sold and signed their new book, "From Our Place to Yours." The column, which featured the drawings by Blurton and the descriptions by Shook, ran for many years in the Silver City Daily Press. They decided to compile their favorite columns into a book, which was signed by the two on Dec. 22, 2018 at the GCAG gallery.
