The Aldo Leopold Charter School Governing Council unanimously selected Hannah Wecks as the new School Director at its regular monthly meeting last night. The previous selection, Mark Forman, opted to remain in his current position.

Wecks has held positions throughout Grant County, serving at the Silver Consolidated and Cobre Consolidated school districts throughout her 22 year career as an educator. As a former Governing Council Chair and in her current position as Student Success Coordinator, Wecks has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and success. Governing Council Chair Alexandra Tager stated that “Hannah is the perfect fit. Her deep commitment to our core mission and her dynamic vision for its future will serve the school well.”
