The Aldo Leopold Charter School Advisory Committee partnered with several businesses and organizations to assemble gift baskets in honor of teacher appreciation week. Southwest New Mexico Seed Library, Kneeling Nun Soaps, Pinos Altos Jellies and Jams,  Javalina Coffeehouse, and the Silver City Farmer's Market provided garden and native plant seeds, soaps, jellies and jams, coffee gift certificates, and fat bundles of asparagus respectively. Parents also provided a buffet of treats and Tuesday morning breakfast. This annual celebration of teachers uplifts the staff as they push through end of the year projects and grading.
