Candidate packets are ready for the Town of Silver City Regular Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Candidate packets for the following elective offices are available at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway or on the Town’s website at www.townofsilvercity.org.

Councilor District 4 2-yr. term
Municipal Judge 4-yr. term

DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY is Tuesday, January 9, 2018 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. only, in the office of the Municipal Clerk, City Hall, 101 W. Broadway. If you have any questions regarding this process, call the Municipal Clerk at 534-6346.

PRECINCT WORKERS NEEDED FOR MARCH ELECTION

Precinct workers are needed for the Town of Silver City Municipal Election to be held on March 6, 2018. These are paid positions to work at the polls on Election Day from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or later on Election Day.

To be eligible to work as a precinct worker, you shall: 1) be a registered voter that resides in the Town of Silver City; 2) be able to read and write; 3) have the necessary capacity to carry out the functions of the office with acceptable skill and dispatch; 4) execute the precinct board member's oath of office; and 5) you cannot be related to any of the candidates running for office.
