NOTICE OF NAMES OF CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE; DESIGNATION OF
POLLING PLACES; PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS; AND, NOTICE OF
ELECTION SCHOOL FOR THE PRECINCT BOARDS

Town of Hurley

In connection with the regular municipal election to be held on March 6, 2018 and pursuant to 3-8-30 NMSA 1978:

A. Notice is hereby given that the following qualified electors are candidates for public office of the Town of Hurley.

The candidates' names are listed in the order that they will appear on the ballot as determined by the drawing by lot.

1. For the office of Mayor for a four year term:

Doug R. Miranda
Jamie Serrano
Joseph E. Stevens

2. For the office of Councilor for a four year term:

Esther C. Gil
Freddie M. Rodriguez

B. Notice is hereby given that the following polling places shall be used for the conduct of the regular municipal election to be held on March 6, 2018:

1. Voters in Consolidated Precincts 28/29 within the municipal boundary shall vote at The Hurley Town Hall, 101 Cortez, Hurley, NM .

2. Voters in the Absentee/Early Voter Precinct shall vote at the Office of the Municipal Clerk, The Hurley Town Hall, 101 Cortez, Hurley, NM.

C. The following Precinct/Absentee Board members have been appointed:

Judges/Clerks in Consolidated Precincts 28 and 29:

Barbara McLain: Presiding Judge
Sandra K. Raines: Judge/Clerk
Tammy Gonezales: Judge/Clerk
Patricia Reyes: Clerk/Translator

D. Notice is hereby given that a Precinct Board Election School will be held on the 1st day of March, 2018 at the Grant County Administrative Center,1400 Highway 180 E., Silver City, New Mexico. The school will begin at 9:00 A.M. The school is open to the public.
