The Bayard City Council during an open meeting on Monday, May 15, 2018 passed and approved Ordinance 2-2018.

ORDINANCE NO. 2-2018

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A NON-EXCLUSIVE TELECOMMUNICATIONS FRANCHISE TO WNM COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION

WHEREAS pursuant to NMSA 1978, Section 3-42-1 (1965), a municipality is authorized to grant by ordinance a franchise to any person, firm, or corporation for the construction and operation of any public utility; and

WHEREAS WNM Communications Corporation is a Delaware corporation registered to do business in New Mexico, and provides public telecommunication services; and

WHEREAS, the City of Bayard desires to enter into a Franchise Agreement with WNM Communications Corporation for the operation of public telecommunication services on the terms set forth herein.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May 208.
