2018 Amendment to the Uniform Traffic Ordinance (UTO)

The Village of Santa Clara hereby gives public notice of the Intent to Adopt an ordinance providing for an amendment to the (UTO) 224 Ordinance. Amendments are as follows; to remove 2017 Cover Page and Preface, replace with 2018 Cover page and Preface, to remove Article V “Signs, Signals and Markings” in its entirety, replace with new Article V (pages 1-6), remove Article VI “Traffic Regulations” pages (45-65), replace with new Article VI (pages 45-65), remove Article VII “ Operations of Bicycles” in its entirety, replace with new Article pages (1-6), Remove Article X “Vehicle Regulations” in its entirety, replace with new Article X pages (1-29)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF SANTA CLARA, NEW MEXICO THAT:

1. The amendment to this ordinance shall be effective September 13, 2018.

Consideration of the final adoption of such proposed ordinance will not take place until at least two (2) weeks subsequent to the date of this notice and only at a public meeting called and held in accordance with Section 3-17-3, NMSA 1978. Consideration of adoption of said ordinance is currently scheduled for and will not take place prior to September 13, 2018.
