Summary:
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of professional and executive and managerial duties as needed to assist in the ongoing planning, directing, organizing and oversight of administrative processes necessary to carry out the efficient and economic operation of the County.   Reporting directly to the County Manager, acts under general direction and is responsible for the oversight and coordination of assigned departments.

Supervisory Controls:
The incumbent performs under the administrative supervision of the County Manager or assigned designee, who provides work assignments, instructions and explains overall job duties and objectives. The work is normally performed independently; however, the supervisor is usually available for guidance on new or unusual situations. The County Manager or assigned designee will spot check work for productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
