LEGAL NOTICE
REGULAR MEETING – Sept. 14, 2023
The Grant County Board of Commissioners will convene in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Commission Meeting Room at the Grant County Administration Center located at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM 88061. The agenda for the Regular Meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the County Manager’s Office or viewed online at www.grantcountynm.gov. If you are an individual with a disability in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter or any other form of auxiliary aide or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, please contact the Grant County Manager at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico at least one (1) week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible. The meeting will be livestreamed on the County Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/GrantCountyNM/ and available later as a recording on the County’s website at www.grantcountynm.gov .

Open Public Hearing and Discussion Regarding Ordinance No. O-23-07 entitled; An Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of Grant County, New Mexico General Obligations Bonds, Series 2023, in an Aggregate Principal Amount not to Exceed $2,000,000 (the “Bonds”), Payable from Ad Valorem Taxes Levied without Limit as to Rate or Amount; Approving the Delegation of Sale of the Bonds Pursuant to the Supplemental Public Securities Act, Subject to the Parameter Established Herein, Including, without Limitation, the Dates, Maturities, Redemption Provisions, Interest Rates, Sale Prices, and Payment Terms; Providing for the Form, Parameters, Terms, and Conditions of the Bonds, the Manner of their Execution, and the Method of, and Security for, Payment of the Bonds; Authorizing the Sale of the Bonds Through a Negotiated Sale; Authorizing the use of a Preliminary Official Statement and Official Statement with Respect to the Bonds and the Execution of a Bond Purchase Agreement and a Continuing Disclosure Undertaking; Ratifying Action Previously Taken in connection Therewith and Authorizing the Taking of all Other Actions Necessary to the Consummation of the Transactions Contemplated by this Ordinance and Repealing all Ordinances in Conflict Herewith; and Providing for Other Details Concerning the Bonds
