LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Silver City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy. 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:

11. NEW BUSINESS:

A. Discussion of Website Redesign

B. Approval / Disapproval of a Public Celebration Permit for Little Toad Creek  

Brewery & Distillery Territorial Charter Day Ball on February 10, 2024.

C. Approval / Disapproval of Ordinance 1325: AN ORDINANCE PERMITTING THE SALE AND TRANSFER OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY BY THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY, BEING A 119.973 ACRE (MORE OR LESS) TRACT OF LAND, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 48, SECTION 48-29, OF THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY MUNICIPAL CODE.

D. Approval / Disapproval of Ordinance 1326: AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 22-31 THROUGH 22-39, ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 22, HEALTH, TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY, ALLOWING PERSONS TO SAFELY LEAVE INFANTS NOT MORE THAN NINETY DAYS (90) OF AGE OR LESS, AT SAFE HAVEN SITES, OR IN SAFETY DEVISES FOR SURRENDER, WITHOUT CRIMINAL PROSECUTION FOR ABANDONMENT OR ABUSE OF A CHILD; AND ALLOWING THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF SAFETY DEVISES FOR THE SURRENDER OF INFANTS.

E. Mayors’ Appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission

12. Approval / Disapproval of Closed Executive Session pursuant to NMSA 1978 Section  

10-15-l(H)(2) limited personnel matters regarding Town Manager’s Contract.
