Notice is hereby given that the Silver Consolidated Schools Board of Education, County of Grant, State of New Mexico, is requesting proposals to provide School Board Attorney services for the Silver Consolidated School District for the 2019-2020 school year. Proposals will be due no later than October 11, 2019 at 3:00 PM.
WORK SESSION/REGULAR MEETING – October 10, 2019
The Grant County Board of Commissioners will convene in a Work Session/Regular Meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Commission Meeting Room at the Grant County Administration Center located at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM 88061. The agenda for this meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the County Manager’s Office or viewed online at www.grantcountynm.gov. If you are an individual with a disability in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter or any other form of auxiliary aide or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, please contact the Grant County Manager at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico at least one (1) week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible. NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Regular Meeting of the Silver Consolidated Schools Board of Education scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2019, has been changed to Monday, October 28, 2019 in the Board Room of the Administration Building, 2810 North Swan Street, Silver City, New Mexico, beginning at 6:00 p.m. for the transaction of the following business: approval of minutes and agenda; information/presentations/reports; action items-approval of the consent agenda; future meetings and proposed agenda items; executive session; and such other items as may be included on the regular board meeting agenda.
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Silver Consolidated School Board of Education Work Session scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2019, has been changed to Monday, October 28, 2019 in the Board Room of the Administration Building, 2810 North Swan Street, Silver City, New Mexico, at 5:30 p.m.
The purpose for the meeting will be to allow the Board opportunity for general discussion and review of pertinent matters that require their attention and direction. The Board may elect to go into executive session pursuant to 10-15-1, H-1 through H-9, NMSA, 1978.
The Town of Silver City Council cancelled their regular Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2019 due to a lack of business. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2019. Visit www.townofsilvercity.org for more information.
The Silver City Public Library Community Advisory Group will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Public Library, 515 W. College Ave., Silver City, NM. CANCELLATION NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
The Grant County Board of Commission Chairman, Chris M. Ponce, has cancelled the scheduled Special Meeting, Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., Regarding Supporting Efforts to Reverse Court-Ordered Injunction Ceasing Timber Management Actions in Region 3 Forests. Chairman Chris Ponce stated, at this time, we are monitoring the progress and a Special Meeting maybe scheduled in the future, pending the development.
