New Mexico - The Democratic Party of New Mexico released the following statement on Congressional shooting in Virginia:
"This morning's events shocked the country, and as Democrats we stand firmly against violence. Our thoughts are with the families, staff members, and Congress members who were directly involved. Though we are in contentious political times, violence is not the answer."
