ALBUQUERQUE – Yesterday, in Washington, Michelle Lujan Grisham voted against legislation to fund America's military and national security, sending a clear message to our troops that she's willing to play politics at their expense. The funding package included the largest military pay raise in eight years, as well as funding for ongoing overseas military operations. Lujan Grisham was a ‘no' vote.

"Michelle Lujan Grisham's vote against our military is an example of politics at its worst," said Ryan Cangiolosi, Chairman of the Republican Party of New Mexico. "Members of our military put their lives on the line to keep us safe and deserve our full support. Michelle Lujan Grisham turned her back on them by voting against a pay raise as well as funding for troops in harm's way overseas. If Lujan Grisham can't be a voice for our military, she certainly won't be a fighter for New Mexico families."

Michelle Lujan Grisham's decision to vote party first, is a direct vote against the bravest Americans who defend this nation.
