HOBBS, NM – The Newman campaign announced today it raised $316,760 in the first six weeks since entering the race for New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District. The campaign will report $311,456 cash on hand in its first FEC filing. Monty Newman entered the race on August 14 promising to fight for conservative values.

Monty Newman said, "The outpouring of support for my campaign from New Mexicans across the 2nd District means a lot to me and my family. New Mexico families are struggling and we need to continue having a strong, conservative voice representing us in Washington. I intend to work hard every day to be that voice for our New Mexico values."
