Michelle Lujan Grisham Skips Another Forum

GRANTS, NM–Gubernatorial candidate Steve Pearce shared his vision for New Mexico yesterday with voters in Grants, New Mexico. Meanwhile, Michelle Lujan Grisham chose to skip yet another opportunity to allow voters to hear from her directly, raising questions about her continued unwillingness to face questions over her shady business dealings with Delta Consulting and her ties to former Gov. Bill Richardson's administration.

"It's disappointing - but not surprising - that Michelle Lujan Grisham is avoiding voters in the homestretch of this race," said Paul Smith, Pearce for New Mexico campaign manager. "New Mexicans deserve answers from Grisham about the corrupt contract she was given to run the state high risk insurance pool, and it's unfortunate that she continues to skip events like today's forum. Voters in Grants - and all across New Mexico - should take note of her unwillingness to answer to face the public and answer questions."
