Santa Fe, N.M. – Today, Speaker Brian Egolf appeared on C-SPAN's "50 Capitals Tour" series to speak about how national issues are playing out at in New Mexico. Aboard the C-SPAN bus in Santa Fe, Speaker Brian Egolf highlighted the New Mexico Legislature's bipartisanship and commitment to diversifying New Mexico's economy.

"The bipartisan approach of the new Democratic House majority is showing results, and we're focused on creating new high-quality jobs, improving education, addressing public safety, and developing long-term solutions," said Speaker Brian Egolf. "New Mexico is a great example to other states and an example for Washington on how to get things done and make sure government works for the people.

Appearing after Governor Bill Richardson, Speaker Egolf took calls from across New Mexico and the country on issues ranging from school safety, the death penalty, and New Mexico's economic bright spots, including Santa Fe's Meow Wolf. The full segment is available here.
