"Exploring America on the Continental Divide."

Download as iCal file

Sunday, July 16, 2017, 10:00am - 11:00am

Though friends and family told her she'd be foolish to attempt this hike, Jenny "Cloud" Gaeng set out to walk the CDT and completed the 3,100-mile trek from Mexico to Canada. Her story includes five states, one bear attack and innumerable generous strangers. Jenny is currently serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Continental Divide Trail Coalition in Silver City. Even though this is not a Fifth Sunday, there will be a dedicated offering for the CDTC. There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
