Gila Native Plant Society Field Trip to Tadpole Ridge, Trail 232

Meet in the South Parking Lot for carpooling. This moderate hike on a well-maintained trail at elevation 7300'- 7700’ passes through a flat, open ponderosa forest before ascending an east-facing slope. Legumes should be in bloom, including long-leaf cologania, Rocky Mountain sweetpea, deervetch and Gray’s limabean. Free and open to the public. Please come prepared with good footgear, sun protection, plenty of water and lunch or snacks.
