three redneck tenors rsSunday, October 1, will bring a special treat to Silver City Community Concert goers. 3 Redneck Tenors will perform at 3:00 p.m. in the WNMU Fine Arts Theater. Matthew Lord, Blake Davidson and Jonathan Fruge are a "new breed" in the world of tenors. They are classically-trained veteran artists who sing arrangements by award-winning composer Craig Bohmler. It's Duck Dynasty meets Carnegie Hall! Don't miss this unique combination of down-home laughs and big city music. This group of talented singers has been thrilling audiences since 2006.

Matthew Lord's stage work has been consistently praised for its naturalness, intensity, and commitment. He made his New York Metropolitan Opera debut in January2004 and has performed in nearly every major opera house in the United States. Blake Davidson has performed all over the world in various operas, symphonies and musical theater productions. He has performed in solo concerts at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and the Tokyo Opera House. Jonathan Fruge has been hailed "always funny, always good for a smile." His credits include choral and solo performances at Carnegie Hall, the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.

For non-GCCCA subscribers, tickets to the concert are $20 for adults and $5 for students to age 17 not accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Students coming with an adult ticket holder are admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased online at www.gcconcerts.org or in Silver City at The Place Gallery (Bullard at Broadway), Western Stationers (Broadway at Texas), or the MRAC Office (Wells Fargo Bank Bldg.), or at the concert.
