Special shows at the Pinos Altos Art Gallery draw those wanting to sample the work of local artists and crafters. Touring the historic Hearst Church where the gallery is located is a bonus for history buffs.The Grant County Art Guild is a member of the Silver City Art Association and is joining in the spirit of the Red Dot festivities. The Guild will end their season at the Pinos Altos Art Gallery with the Red Dot Art Show, opening October 6, and mark-downs on many of their members' original fine art as well as beautiful works from our Guild crafters! When you visit their gallery the next two weekends, look for the tags with the red dots and you have the possibility of finding just what you are looking for or something for the coming season of gifting, and with the prices slashed.

Just a short 7-mile drive from Silver City, this unique gallery has an array of paintings in oils, acrylics, watercolor and mixed media. There you will also find pottery, photography, handmade purses, scarves and other fabric items, ceramics, handcrafted jewelry, greeting cards and much more. Browsers and buyers always welcome.

The Pinos Altos Art Gallery, located in the historic Hearst Church, 14 Golden Avenue in Pinos Altos, is the seasonal home for many local artists and crafters who are members of the Grant County Art Guild. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from late spring and this year closing on October 15. The Guild is a nonprofit organization with the purpose of giving local artists and crafters an opportunity to come together, learn, show and sell the artwork that they so love to create.
