pumpkin patch pickup rsFor the second year, Hurley Pride will bring the Pumpkin Patch to Grant County on October 7th, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (or while supplies last). Admission is $5.00 for each person who wants a pumpkin. This includes the tickets to two games where the little ones WILL win a prize!

Nestling the Patch in between the historic buildings of the Old Hurley Company Store and its warehouse is reminiscent to its important economical past. A scarecrow will be running around to help pick the perfect pumpkin for your fall decorations or provide a photo op for the young and young at heart. A few games, apple bobbing and the ever the evolving Train Museum inside the store will keep your young ones occupied until the hay wagon returns to give you as many free rides as you like.

This event provides an opportunity to visit a small pumpkin patch in the Mining District. The Hurley Pride was impressed with how well the event was received last year. "I'm so thankful I could bring my kids here this year instead of going to Las Cruces," one mother stated. The nonprofit group hopes to add fullness to this little event each year.
Sponsorships and donations from local businesses and families help to make this possible.
