With the close of fiscal year 2016-17, the Mimbres Region Arts Council (MRAC) will be holding its annual meeting on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Vicki’s Eatery, 315 N. Texas Street, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Members and other individuals interested in the Arts Council and its mission are welcome to attend to learn how to participate in and support MRAC programs.

Complimentary appetizers will be served and beer/wine will be available for purchase. Local favorite Dave Martino will provide entertainment. There will be drawings for door prizes including an original print from the Southwest Print Fiesta.

The business meeting will begin at 5:30 pm. According to Board President, Maureen Craig, the MRAC will announce the 2017-18 programs, Executive Director Kevin Lenkner will present new MRAC initiatives and new board members will be introduced.

“MRAC is moving forward with our popular programs, such as the Print Fiesta, Black Tie Ball, Youth Mural Camps, Indie/Folk Music Series, Arte Para Todas, Fine Arts Fridays, Chocolate Fantasia and the Blues Festival,” said Maureen Craig, President.
