Originally from Brawley, Calif., Tim Stillman graduated from Brawley Union High School in 2007 and then attended Le Cordon Bleu, College of the Culinary Arts, in Las Vegas, N.V. He worked as a chef on the Las Vegas strip and was inspired to further his education. In 2012, he moved to Silver City and began studying business at Western New Mexico University.

Last spring, Stillman graduated with a bachelor's in business management, and now he is working toward his master's in business.
