Conservatory of Dance to present Nutcracker Jan. 12, 2018

The Conservatory of Dance will be presenting their 10 th annual version of the timeless ballet classic THE NUTCRACKER BALLETat the Fine Arts Center Theatre on the Western New Mexico University campus. On Friday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. a free performance, thanks to the generous support of the Mimbres Region Arts Council will be presented for school age students, with the public performance on Saturday January 13 at 2:00 p.m.

The ballet classic features students from the Conservatory of Dance in Silver City ages 3 years and up. Dancing the lead roles will be, Brianna Clark and Jessi Crocker as Clara. Francine, Clara’s mischievious sister will be danced by Amelia Cano and Ivy Stephens-Etheridge and the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy will be Azusa Sato and Gabriela O’Keefe partnered by Dale Adama guest artist from CA. Other dancers include Ixayana Alcorta, Melanie Araiza, Margaret Bailey, Sidney Barker, Ellie Bernal, Emma Bernal, Mia Bernal, Olivia Bernal, Savannah Bernal, Brooklyn Bird, William Crocker, Alani Eugenio, Esperanza Gonzales, Leila Gonzales, Mariana Grijlva, Lyah Hartwell, Gabrielle Holguin, Angela Laney, Anabella Lopez, Adalyn Madrid, Savanna Miller-Egge, Veronica Morones, Zooey Mosher, Chidinma Nwachuku, Kelechi Nwachuku, Khloe O’Hare, Peyton O’Hare, Zeyah Pearson, Molly Pendleton, Eiley Portillo, Julian Sanchez, Taishi Sato, Chrissie Souders, Willow Sprague-Robinson, Elizabeth Webb, Helen Webb, Theresa Webb, Lily Wheatley and Ryanne White.

Tickets prices are $5.00 general admission with children under 3 years free.
