You are cordially invited to attend the 37th annual black powder shoot... Blue Moon of the Crow Rendezvous. This year is even more special because the Mountain Man Rendezvous will be held during the Blue Moon of March.

Blue Moon of the Crow Rendezvous is being held jointly by the Gila Trappers and the New Mexico Mountain Men. The dates are March 29, 30, 31 and April 1. The rendezvous will be held near Skates Canyon in the beautiful Gila National Forest. Travel north on Highway 35 from San Lorenzo to Lake Roberts. You will see signs where to turn before you reach Lake Roberts.

This is a pre-1840's style rendezvous. There will be primitive and modern camping (primitive rules in the primitive camp). You must wear pre-1840's garb to be allowed to shoot... Round Ball - Pouch - Open Sights.

If you plan to camp, bring firewood and water. The camping fee is $30.00 per individual or $40.00 per family.

There will be rifle and pistol walks, Knife and Hawk, Smoothbores, a Mountain Man Run, a Ladies Shoot, and Shotgun.

Location:
Skates Canyon in the Gila National Forest. Travel north on Highway 35 from San Lorenzo, New Mexico toward Lake Roberts. Watch for the signs along the highway showing you where to turn. If you travel all the way to Lake Roberts, you missed the signs.
