The community is invited to attend the 1st annual Summer Bash Event. This even will take place at the Silver City Municipal Swimming Pool on August 4, 2018. This event will be hosted by the Silver City Police Department, Grant County DWI Program, Fraternal Order of Police, and the Silver City Police Officers Association.
The objective is to help the Silver School District with school supplies. The community is being asked to donate school supplies. The public will also be given free entry into the swimming pool by donating school supplies. The event will take place from 5:00 P.M. to Midnight. After 9 P.M, children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. There will be music and games inside the facility. There will also be a booth selling food.
The Grant County DWI program will be breathalyzing students between 6th and 12th grade. Door prizes will also be given upon entry. Below is a list of school supplies that would help benefit the Silver School District.
