What: A public panel discussion to celebrate the first anniversary of the return of Willem de Kooning's "Woman – Ochre," which had been lost for 30 years, to the University of Arizona Museum of Art. The panel will review the painting's history and importance, recount the return adventure, and share future plans. There is no cost to attend the panel, but ticketed events will occur Saturday.
 
Who: The business owners who found the painting —David Van Auker, Buck Burns and Rick Johnson — and U of A Museum of Art staff members will sit on the panel. WNMU President Dr. Joseph Shepard and WNMU Foundation Director Jodi Edens-Crocker worked with the U of A Museum of Art to coordinate this event.
 
When: Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 11 a.m.
 
Where: The WNMU Besse Forward Global Resource Center Auditorium (1000 W. College Ave., Silver City, NM), which is at the corner of 12th and Kentucky streets on campus.
