Edwina Milner is an artist, philanthropist, feminist, art teacher, and educator whose art career now spans six decades. Throughout the past 20 years, she has been focused on promoting museums and other artists, especially women, throughout the United States. Her path has led her back to her studio where she is most happy, painting. Her acrylic and gold leaf on canvas paintings celebrate the adventurous and magical journey of lifework that is full of curves, turns and bright lights. She states that her paths and decisions throughout her 84 years have been golden. Her new work is a culmination from all of the various creative stages in her life including painter, costume designer, fashion illustrator, and art teacher.

“Without having to lift her brush to canvas, Milner has had an enormous positive impact on the arts of New Mexico through her involvement with the Women in the Arts Museum in Washington, D.C., and her contributing efforts on behalf of the New Mexico chapter of Women in the Arts.” Read more about what the Albuquerque Journal says here.
