The Southwest New Mexico Arts, Culture & Tourism Board is pleased to invite the public to attend an important meeting touching on economic development, creative entrepreneurship, small business development and the creative economy in Grant County. We have won a grant from the US Department of Agriculture for rural business development, and are using the grant to fund a feasibility study for an incubator and/or makerspace here. Our consultants, Creative Startups, will be meeting with the public on October 9 and 10, from 9 am to 12 noon on Tuesday and Wednesday, and also from 2 to 5 pm on Tuesday on the Western New Mexico University (WNMU) campus.  Meetings will be held in the Seminar Room on the 3rd floor of the Student Memorial Center.  The agenda and a map are available for download here along with more information about the project and the consultants.

Please preregister by filling out the form on the SWNMACT website, by sending an email to Colleen Morton or by calling 575-538-5560. Please select only one day as there is limited seating.
