The Concert Band of the Southwest, conducted by David Kendrick, will present its “Autumn Concert” on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the Cobre High School Auditorium.  The concert begins at 7:00 pm; doors open at 6:30 pm. Seating is open and all seats are free. Donations for our sheet music library and expenses are gratefully accepted. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, so if you need a donor letter for your taxes, just let us know. We extend many thanks to each and all our patrons who have supported our concerts over the years.

This fall performance will include “Alamo” a march by Karl King, arranged by James Swearingen; “Feurerfest Polka, Op. 269” by Josef Strauss, arranged by Robert Longfield; Randall D. Standridge’s  “Celebration; “The Minstrel Boy” a traditional Irish song arranged by Leroy Anderson , “Essay in Courage” by Gary P. Gilroy; and “Hans Zimmer: Movie Milestones” a medley of Hans Zimmer tunes arranged by Michael Brown.
