El Refugio, Inc. invites YOU to participate and SUPPORT Domestic Violence Awareness Month by wearing purple during the month of October and sharing your STANCE on domestic violence to family, friends, co-workers, etc.

El Refugio, Inc. invites YOU to stand with us on the following dates:
October 1, 2018 – 9:00 a.m., DV Awareness Month Proclamation, will be held at the Silver City Women’s Club, 1715 Silver Heights Blvd. Lighting of the Candle ceremony will take place.

October 11, 2018 – “Remember My Name” memorial will be held at El Refugio’s Healing Garden at 6:30 p.m.
October 13, 2018 – Fundraiser dance at 8:00 p.m. to Midnight at the Flame. NM music by Jerry Dean, Al Hurricane Jr., Erika and Christian Sanchez. Tickets are $20.00 per person or $35.00 per couple. Can purchase tickets at door or at El Refugio, Inc., 800 S. Robert Street, Silver City NM.
October 18 & 19, 2018 – Domestic Violence Annual Training to be held at the Grant County Business & Convention Center. Training for law enforcement, first responders, victim advocates, dispatch and others working with the Domestic Violence target population. Both days: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
