The Conservatory of Dance will be presenting their 11th annual version of the timeless ballet classic, the Nutcracker Ballet, at the Fine Arts Center Theatre on the Western New Mexico University campus. On Friday January 11 at 10:00 a.m., a free performance thanks to the generous support of the Mimbres Region Arts Council, will be presented for school age students. The public performance will be on Saturday January 12 at 2:00 p.m.

The ballet classic features students from the Conservatory of Dance in Silver City ages 3 years and up. Dancing the lead roles will be  Willow Sprague-Robinson and Elizabeth Webb as Clara. Fritz, Clara’s mischievious brother will be danced by Julian Sanchez and the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy will be Margaret Bailey and Chrissie Souders partnered by Dale Adama guest artist from CA. Other dancers include Ixayana Alcorta, Zoe Anderson-Amaro, Sidney Barker, Ellie Bernal, Emma Bernal, Kennedi Bernal, Mia Bernal, Olivia Bernal, Savannah Bernal, Brooklyn Bird, Alicia Clark, Brianna Clark, Aspen Cole, Mia Cook, Jessi Ann Crocker, William Crocker, Nevaeh Garcia, Leila Gonzales, Mariana Grijalva, Gabrielle Holguin, Dillon Kulikowski, Angela Laney, Raileigh Marchan, Mercy Martinez, Ruth Meyers, Veronica Morones, Zooey Mosher, Chidinma Nwachuku, Kelechi Nwachuku, Khloe O’Hare, Peyton O’Hare, Sierra Pagels, Molly Pendleton, Siobhan Pyper, Presley Salazar, Julian Sanchez, Ivy Stephens-Ethridge, Helen Webb, Theresa Webb, Lily Wheatley and Ryanne White.

Tickets prices are $5.00 with children under 3 years free for the Saturday performance.
